I know that this may not excite you as much as it excites me, but I am so excited about this wedding cake!! Paul and Annelise asked me to make their wedding cake, so that is what I've been doing all week. I was so grateful to a friend who told me not to try and do it all in one day. Now that I am done I think I would have died had I done that! So tomorrow is the Big Day, and I am done the cake. So I thought I would share some of the process of making it with anyone who cares :) After tomorrow I will post pictures of the cake all set up!! I just hope it doesn't fall over or suffer a major disaster in transport...

Ok so here is the finished product. I think for my first attempt at a wedding cake it turned out pretty good.

It looks very smooth! I can't wait to see it with the flowers! Good job!
Mel, will you give me the link to your blog. I found this link through a comment that you left on Janay's blog and I can't get the whole page to show so that I can get your link off.
Thanks so much!
